Por favor que el dueño contrate a gente que no estén los camareros agobiados porque entre 3 un sitio tan enorme y con tanta oferta estén desbordados

Experiencia positiva: Fun little spot with solid drinks and a cool downstairs vibe. The pours are meticulously measured, and while the bartenders were more into chatting with each other than engaging, the overall experience was still good.

Experiencia positiva: Decent atmosphere, pretty good music, OK beers (nothing I would rate higher than 3.5). Came for a beer pre-dinner, 19.00. No-one tended the bar. Waited about 10 minutes, other people were leaving due to lack of service meanwhile, before finally getting what I would describe as a "walk by" bartender asking if I wanted to order something. Unfortunately this person had a manager badge, and did not know how to pour a beer, backfilling with "foam" after a completely flat pour. If it had been an isolated incident I would have left it at that, but when waiting minutes for a bartender to appear for next beer as well, and getting a (better but still) bad pour, I'm sorry, but that's it. The two qualities I want in a bartender might be to be behind the bar and know how to pour a beer?

Experiencia fantástica: Tienen mucha variedad de cervezas artesanales y de importación pero hemos venido exclusivamente para probar las artesanales y están buenísimas. Hay algunas en oferta que se quedan por 3€ la pinta que está genial. En el establecimiento se está estupendo, con música y sin jaleo. El servicio por parte de Carlos el camarero fue magnífico. Recomiendo hablar con él y que te ayude según el tipo de cervezas que te gusten y sobre todo preguntar por las ofertas que hay.

Experiencia positiva: Wide selection of craft beers. Price is reasonable depending on the % of alcohol. This place is located underground ie basement 1. Easy location from Opera station. Near to the famous San Gines Chocolaterie/Churros. Air conditioned. But the fumes from the kitchen upstairs were too overwhelming and smoky for me that i started having blocked nose. Only had a drink and left.

Experiencia positiva: Fuimos a la parte de las cervezas. Cerveza bien Local chulo y de la música me gustó hasta el volumen. No me gustó nada el servicio. Antes de empezar a llenar las cervezas ya me puso la máquina delante para pagar diciendo "once", pasé. Una vez llenas, antes de darme los vasos ahí se plantó con la máquina a cobrar otra vez diciendo "once". Si por algún motivo quieres cobrar antes, hablas un poco y dices algo. Me parece un trato muy seco.

Experiencia positiva: Un buen sitio para tomar una cerveza artesanal y de importación en las inmediaciones de Ópera. Una grandísima selección de cervezas de grifo, un sitio diferente, quizá algo turístico y con precios más orientados al visitante que al local, pero con todo y más, un lugar en el que vale la pena detenerse. El hecho de que esté metido en un sótano, así como su distribución, con los grandes bancos y mesas, recuerda a las típicas cervecerías alemanas, donde compartes la experiencia con otros clientes. Me parece un acierto. Su decoración es fantástica y transmite justo lo que debe, solo levantando la vista a tu alrededor, identificarías que es un lugar de estas características. Ese ladrillo ha visto mucho lúpulo y cebada. Como decía, el precio me dejó algo frío, pero volveré.

Experiencia positiva: Se entra por el Tierra Burrito. Es un sótano de estilo industrial y la clientela es joven. Hay 1L de sangría por 7,50€ y happy hour SOLO DE MARGARITAS de 16:00-19:00 y de 23:00 a cierre. SUPUESTAMENTE las cervezas valen menos de 18 a 20h.

Experiencia fantástica: Uno de los sitios a los que suelo ir con mis amigos a tomar buena cerveza y picar algo. La planta de abajo, donde tienen los grifos de cerveza, es muy agradable y ponen buena música ambiente. Algunas cervezas van cambiando y hay bastante variedad, por lo que es genial para quien disfruta de probar algo nuevo. Totalmente recomendable!

Experiencia fantástica: Taproom is underground with good temperature and music. There are Craft beer choices from several breweries. Taproom IPA is recommended. You can get 50% discount from 18:00 to 20:00 in selected beers. And it's allowed to bring the food from upstairs, where Fast service and good Mexican fast-food is tasty. Guacamole tastes really good.

Experiencia negativa: Disappointing experience here. House beers just okay - decent draft list overall - props for having an Omnipollo beer from Sweden. The bartender was completely indifferent towards providing a positive experience here. Nonchalant and unenthusiastic even after waiting 15-20 for anyone to show up behind the bar during peak hours (I guess he was in the bathroom that whole time and no other staff member from upstairs could cover…?). Not worth a stop.

Unfortunately no flights offered to find your favourite beer. And on weekdays 50% off on certain beers during happy hour (18:00 to 20:00).

Experiencia positiva: Que esté debajo de un Tierra Burrito es un puntazo (aunque hace un poco difícil encontrar el local porque no tiene acceso desde fuera, solo desde la planta de arriba del Tierra Burrito). El local del Taproom también es bastante grande, con lo que es más fácil encontrar sitio que en otros locales de craft beer. Pero cuidado si eres como yo de los que toman medias pintas en vez de pintas enteras: son super caras, te cobran solo 1€ menos que la pinta completa. Para la gente que nos gusta probar distintas cervezas o beber menos, pagar 6.5€ por una media pinta cuando la pinta vale 7.5€ es un robo.

Experiencia positiva: Nice place for craft beer in the center of Madrid, located in the basement of a burrito joint. This place is part of a mini-chain of 3-4 Taprooms found throughout Madrid. Really nice atmosphere with a lot of seating. Very solid selection of beers on tap (15 total), with the majority of them being legitimate craft beer from small independent breweries (both Spanish & international). Had a NEIPA from Equilibrium Brewing and it was probably the best NEIPA I’ve had in my 7 years in Madrid. Only downside was that the bartender didn’t know much about the beers, and that they don’t have a fridge with more bottles & cans of craft beer. Not a place where the super beer nerds hang out, but definitely one of the coolest spots in the center in terms of ambience and with a solid tap list. Bizat!

Experiencia negativa: La cerveza no está mal, pero no te ponen ni un triste bol pequeño de patatas fritas o frutos secos, al dueño no creo que le suponga mucho, y con éste gesto si atraería a bastante clientela, los detalles en España hacen que un negocio suba y un minúsculo bol de cualquier cosita de acompañamiento con una cerveza se agradecería y seguramente tendría muchísima más clientela, no volveremos.

Experiencia fantástica: We were looking for a bar with a large selection of craft beers and this place was exactly what we needed. It is located in the basement below the burrito place. The selection includes craft beer mostly from Spain but also a few others from the USA and elsewhere. I was happy to see Garage Beer Co from Barcelona had several options on the list. I’m a big fan of Hazy or Tropical IPAs and there were several options of that type. It’s a welcome escape from the same beer or two being offered at every other bar. My wife was thrilled that there was sangria available as well. There was plenty of seating and even a large TV for important sporting events. We will be back for sure to try more beer!

Experiencia positiva: The beer selection is quite good, however, at some hours they simply don't care about the tap room, you have to wait from 5 to 15 minutes until somebody shows up behind the counter. My experience: I went directly to the counter, waited 5 minutes, then went upstairs to ask if the tap room was open, they said yes, went down again, waited another 5 minutes then someone showed up. Later I wanted to buy another one, same issue, nobody behind the counter so..wait 5-10 more minutes. I saw a group of 5 people show up, Wait and left because of that. Losing customers because lack of dedicated staff is a serious issue, hope they can solve it.

They do seem to keep their Untappd updated though, so you’ll be on your own here. Prices are reasonable for a craft beer joint in a capital city.

Experiencia positiva: Would have got 5 stars if not for the bizarre experience of a "pint" of beer (presumably a North American mini-pint) for €10 but a "half pint" of the same ale for €9. I understand supply and demand but that does not add up. Nonetheless I will probably still return for the decent selection of ales in the very heart of the city.

Experiencia negativa: Es un sótano aprovechado, pero decirte que cierran en 10 minutos después de servirte, y te consuelan con que puede ir arriba, que es el Tierra Burrito, que es otro ambiente... No sé, cerrad todo a la vez o cerrad antes. Creo que la ventaja de tener 16 tipos de cerveza no se compensa si no vas pronto para poder tomarte tu cerveza tranquilamente.

Experiencia negativa: Hard to find, not well advertised (downstairs in a fast food shop). The bar staff during the week (when I came) was non existent as I had to go upstairs to the fast food store to let to them know that I wanted a beer, rather than having a full time member of staff there. To be honest, I don't know why this bar is here. Everyone here in Spanish dinner time is full of kids (including the staff), only interested in fast food. Very disappointing as the variety of beer was very good.

Experiencia fantástica: One of my favorite brew pubs in Madrid. They always have an outstanding variety of tasty craft beers on tap - not just a bunch of IPA’s. I like the cozy, rustic downstairs setting and the friendly, chilled out service. There is a fast-food Mexican joint upstairs and you can bring their food down into the tap room - but I prefer to focus on the lovely beers. It was the only place in Madrid that I found Scotch Ale on tap last winter - highly appreciated!

Experiencia fantástica: Tienen cervezas caseras de todo tipo, algunas más tradicionales, otras más variopintas, y van cambiando de vez en cuando. Siempre va a haber una para ti, salvo que no te guste la cerveza, aunque también tienen sidras (cider si lo prefieres) que a lo mejor te gustan más. Recomiendo una de fresa y lima que me encanta. Y, si te pasa como a mí, que llegas y ves una lista con muchísimas cervezas con nombres curiosos y no tienes ni idea de cómo son y cuál te puede gustar, no te preocupes. Puedes preguntar y el camarero o camarera a cargo te guiará, preguntándote sobre tus gustos, dando sus recomendaciones y describiendo cada una de las cervezas que ofrecen. Además, puedes probarlas, las que quieras, te darán un poquito en un vaso y así ya no te puedes equivocar. También te suelen dar algo para acompañar a la cerveza. Pretzels, o cacahuetes con miel, o, y esto es muy curioso porque yo no lo sabía, si pides cervezas negras (del estilo de la Guiness) es recomendable tomarla con chocolate negro. Si bebes cerveza, comes chocolate y vuelves a beber, el sabor cambia totalmente, es una chulada. Yo intento probar cervezas distintas cada vez que voy. La última fue una que sabía a mango.
